Irene Keino

Research Executive

I am an efficient, competent, and result-oriented researcher with 7 years of progressive work experience and a background in economics and sociology. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Egerton University and I am skilled in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.

At present, I hold the position of Research Executive at Research PLUS Africa, where I play a pivotal role in assisting the Research Manager with the implementation of research initiatives. Within this role, I am engaged in the complete project lifecycle, encompassing tasks such as formulating research proposals, project conceptualization, strategic planning, and overall project administration.

Additionally, I am responsible for crafting data collection instruments, training data collection teams, and collaborating closely with both the quality control and operations teams to ensure the acquisition of high-quality data. My role extends to proficiently moderating in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, conducting comprehensive data analysis, interpreting findings, composing evaluation reports, and effectively communicating results to clients.

Moreover, I actively engage in business development, manage budgets and project costs, support clients’ research accounts and ongoing projects. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading motivational and research write-ups, watching nature and fictitious documentaries, visiting parks and swimming.
